How to Donate
Donations are crucial to the success of Hops for Heat. We welcome donations in the form of cash, checks (made payable to “Landing Real Estate”), or Venmo (the username is @landingrealestate). Your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of families in Maine during the cold winter months. Raffle donations are also greatly appreciated. Anything from gift cards, prize baskets, golf-related items, or whatever else you may come up with! Or you may also donate a monetary amount and we will take care of the raffle item/s! We also appreciate all donations to United Way of Southern Maine.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Becoming a sponsor benefits the KeepMEWarm program, gives your company exposure, and showcases your commitment to supporting Maine’s communities. We offer a range of sponsorship levels, each coming with its perks, such as company logo display, recognition on our Facebook event page, opportunities to promote at the banquet, and much more.

About Hops for Heat
Hops For Heat was started in 2017 by Landing Real Estate to raise funds directly for the KeepMEWarm
program through the United Way of Southern Maine. KeepMEWarm provides emergency heating
assistance through a statewide partnership of Maine’s United Ways and Community Action Agencies.
Donations are distributed through a formula based on federal Low-Income Home Energy Assistance
Program percentages and population, and are used to assist individuals directly, or designated to local
organizations that provide emergency fuel assistance, including faith-based programs and nonprofit
agencies. KeepMEWarm is the only statewide fuel assistance fundraising effort in the state of Maine.
Your donation will help raise money for this worthy cause, and it wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations
from people and companies such as you!
In return for your contribution, sponsors for the event will be featured on various marketing materials.
All donations are greatly appreciated. Perhaps most important would be the heightened community
awareness that your company stands out in supporting Maine’s underprivileged
Past Fundraising Efforts
Our fundraising efforts have been successful each year due to the generosity of individuals and companies. Through corporate sponsorship, raffle tickets, and proceeds from sales of the beer brewed specifically for our initiative, we have been able to contribute significantly to the keepMEWarm initiative. Last year we were able to raise $17,000!
